Alright Slutz...
I have known about this board for a few years now. but Definetly a newb.

My story goes...I have recently graduated college, landed a job, and can now begin looking to build a home studio. I am looking at a starting budget of no more than 3,000-5,000 bucks.

I have studied recording and have an understanding of signal flow, basic acoustics etc....but I personally have absolutely NO GEAR (Other than my Drumset).

Simple Question...(Probably with no real simple answers)

What essentials do I need for a home studio. What should be my first gear purchases? What pieces can I get started with?
