A pair of used Schoeps CMC6/MK4 - not terribly difficult to find, and the extra cost will be forgotten very quickly. I've tried everything else over several decades and these (for ease of finding them as opposed to something more esoteric and costly like earlier Schoeps with different capsules, or vintage Neumanns like KM-54s or 56s, even 84s) would be a good choice.
