Hi Folks,
Gearslutz-rookie asks for your opinion!
A few weeks ago, I bought myself a stereopair of DPA 2006C omni's.
Love the compact things. They soak up the midlow range, but you could do something with EQ about that.
A few days ago I've had a recording session with a friend organist in quite a big church in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
The organ was recorded by the 2 DPA's in AB, about 50cm apart, each mic panned 10 degrees out. My stand was about 5,5 meters high, placed about 10 meters from the organ. Check photographs!
In post-production I've EQ'ed a little in the mid-low and added a little top-high. Further I've inserted a (very gentle) limiter at the master.
Any thoughts about it?
