Well, at least there's nothing wrong with the speakers - I can imagine they would be the most expensive to fix.
I doubt it would be the TRS cables if it's happening to both speakers equally. The chances of them both being faulty and causing the same problem is pretty low. And no, length of any balanced cable (TRS, XLR) shouldn't cause any problems.
Double check that your drivers and software are all up to date.
