you need to edit your samples so they begin and end at a "zero crossing". so if you open say a kick drum sample in a sound editor and zoom in vertically to the beginning of the waveform, it needs to be sliced so it begins right at the center line. if the waveform starts or ends above or below that center line (zero crossing) it will cause a click/pop. any sound editor will have a function to "snap to zero crossing", so if you select anything, it'll jump only to sections of the waveform that are at 0 decibels which is the exact center.
