I just unscrewed the feet, pulled the rubber grommets out, and screwed the screws back in. With the screw heads only sticking out a 16th of an inch or so, the Velcro easily adheres to the board, as the industrial strength Velcro is about this thick as well. I did this with my Big Muff and Cry Baby. For one of them, and I think it was the Cry Baby, I had to put a washer on the screws, but it still worked fine. No problems at all, and going on ten years now.
