The IK76 is the only 1176 plug I'll use next to the real thing in a mix. Even though it doesn't sound exactly like the real thing, it's still got a very spanky aggressive sound. Out of any plug I've EVER owned, the IK76 sounds more like a piece of hardware (albeit slightly different than what it is trying to emulate).

Running a vocal through the IK76 and IKLA2A is a very good sounding vocal compression chain.

Although I usually put a lead vocal through hardware, I have gotten very good results with the IK, and commonly use it for BG vox, guitars and a various other things.

The IKLA2A is great on bass also.
