Simply because of topology? Really? Do you understand how many amp designs Mark Sampson sorted through or Brian Gerhardt sorted through to arrive at their final product. Or how many hundreds of musicians were consulted. This isn't about topology so much as a process to achieve perfection in the Vox to 1974x Marshall concept. Something that these men have done very well indeed at.

And I get paid nothing, I only enjoy the other side, the guitars voice as well as playing, singing, and performing...and I enjoyed building amps, when I was able, which makes me appreciate great builders even more. If your happy with your crap, what do I care? Why should you?

What about the 1x12 Club Royale reviewed on Harmony Central for that was purchased used for $800?

What about the 2x12 Club Royal reviewed on Harmony Central - $850?

What about the TH Club Deluxe $730? Or maybe the one for $900? Or the TH Embassy for $850.

How rare is it to see one of these amps sell every 5 to 6 weeks on ebay in this range?? Maybe they should fetch $1400. But they don't.

And your perfectly entitled to spend your money on as much junk as you want to.

Maybe. It's almost half the price of the cheapest you've seen your beloved Top Hats sell for and I know that I can get a tone usable for hard rock and metal (music I usually deal with), something I haven't heard a Top Hat pull off.
If your good with an amp for $400, a mass produced piece of crap that sounds like crap for $400 on Craigslist, I don't care. I hope you like it. Just sayin, you might want to consider holding out for a decent sounding amp instead of settling for garbage.

Does it matter to me what kind of topology it has or where it's made? Not nearly as much.
Again, don't confuse topology with design. What Mr. Gearhardt and Mr. Sampson have done is nothing short of correct the guitar amp market that went horribly wrong in the 80s. Maybe Jet City amps are a compromise between quality and garbage. I've played them. I've heard them. They sound like crap. Not Line 6 crap, but crap. Again, if you're happy, why worry about what Derek at gearslutz thinks?

No insinuation intended. To be very clear, Jet City Amps are certainly tube amps. And they are very shitty sounding tube amps in comparison to Bad Cat, Matchless, Top Hat, /13, Bruno, Valvetech and so on....your milage may vary.
