I could really use some help here! i've been reading, mixing, remixing, reading, and mixing--and it seems like one big blob of music. It seems as though the mix gets better throughout, else my ears just can't help adjusting.

If they are getting better throughout, I'd guess it's because I switch the the bridge pickup post 1st chorus, add in more higher frequencies, etc. But then I boosted high mids and upped the hpf on the guits in the beginning and it still sounds like mudwrestling. Is it my vox that adds something it needed before?

I panned my drummer's hi-hat more to the left and things cleared up a bit, but not enough--still, i feel like it's a high-mids problem?
