Also, any suggestions of better mics in the same price range ?

I'll be recording acoustic guitar, voice, piano and electric guitar, so it has to be versatile.
...a much better option, IMHO, than any of those 3 within a similar price range would be the Studio Projects CS5 ($200 B-stock directly from PMI Audio: PMI Audio - B Stock - USA)...

...the CS5 is SP's top of the line LDC mic which is much smoother on the top-end than the original C1 (or the NT1a), and offers an unusually diverse selection of settings (much more versatile than the Bluebird):
• Five Polar Patterns: Cardioid, Wide Cardioid, Hyper Cardioid, Omni, Fig 8
• -5dB, -10dB, -15dB, and -20dB Pads
• 50hZ, 75hZ, 150Hz, and 300hZ High Pass Filters @ 6dB/octave
• 15kHz, 7kHz, 5kHz, and 3kHz, Low Pass Filters @ 6dB/octave

...original street price was over $500...great pro-quality utility mic that works well on vocals too (like a CAD M179 on steroids!)...a bargain at that price (I own a B-stock...like new!)...
