This happened to me! I dreamt I was watching a music video (by a famous singer--let's call her ... "Buh Jork"). When I awoke I could remember the entire tune but only one lyric. I thought, "Was that really a Buh Jork song?" I couldn't think of one song by Ms. Jork that sounded like the one in my dream, so I made it my own. Made the one lyric ("Look out, world!") the title and wrote my own words. Now if I could only get the video I saw filmed; it was pretty cool. :-)
