My wife hates me for it. I wake up at 3am sometimes and grab my phone to record a melody line. My song dreams are weird because I'm generally playing live on stage in them and even occasionally manipulate the song to make it sound better.
Dunno about you, but I just tend to have a head full of jumbled up music most of the time I'm awake, I think sometimes dreaming help to untangle it all.
