Few things to consider here:
1.) Did you listen on the same system?
2.) Did you export 16Bit 44.1 kHz wave files?
3.) Did you activate dither?
4.) The Loudness thing that you are talking about has to do with the fact that they where mixed and mastered and assuming from your questions you're probly not doing that either... And if you do your not good at it for now which is perfectly normal!
Mixing and Mastering is easy after the first 10.000 hours you do it
