Roland V-Synth, anyone using this for studio work?

Hey all,

I own the motif rack es and Mpc 2000xl but have been thinking of buying a Roland V-Synth for added sounds from Roland and also the vocal designer card that is available for it. The vocoder is a cool ass feature that could really come in handy for certain things.

I dont see assignable outs, only L&R, so Im wondering would this be more of a pain to have in the studio or an asset. I have a producer I work with and this purchase would be more for him then me. I sequence in PT also not that it makes much of a difference.

If anyone is using this synth for studio work, let me know what your take on it is. Worth it? not worth it or go for a workstation?
