You need to dump the "Gangsta" clientel. but seriously, if you feel that way about your client, you should either turn the show down or make sure you are covered financially before you start.
If you think the show is somewhere your gear will be stolen, you should discuss security with your client, unless it's him you think is going to steal it, or worse, you are planning to rob him!
