BTW -- on a somewhat unrelated cowbell note... Jimmy wasn't the guy that the Christopher Walken bit is about... that is another dear friend of mine [Sandy Pearlman] who actually hates cowbell with a blue passion. How it ended up in "Don't Fear The Reaper" I'll never know [and I guess I could know if I asked Sandy... but its not important enough to ask, and if Sandy wants to share the story, I'm sure he will].
