Tho i have not upgraded to 6, but quite content with cubase 5, since cubase SX, i have bn quite astonished by this software, probably if u r more descriptive on your post on what is bothering you, there is a lot of people here who might help,
people have bn recommending reaper here, and for the price it seemed like a good option for me, tried it, the workflow (or lack of understandng the daw) i went back to cubase, but there is no way I can diss reaper for the lack of my know how,
that being said, what buggy sound u talking bout? be more descriptive and we can try to assist,
