1st thing - actively try to become less illiterate, if you want to progress with daw recording.

2nd answer - reformat your drive to mac os if you're on Mac, which you haven't stated but that would be the logical guess. You're trying to record to a pc format drive.

What is the disk allocation set to in pro tools preferences? Look it up in the manual if you can't find out how to get to prefs....
