1 4x8 sheet of oak plywood was $50.00
the casters were another $52.00.
I haven't gotten the poly yet but I think it's only about $10 or $12 for a half gallon.
The cabinets themselves I had prior to this project.
The rails I got for free.
The paint was free, Well actually my wife bought it a while back and never used it and then changed her mind and didn't want it. But it came from the reject bin at Home Depot for $5.00.
I think that's all. For a grand total of less $120.00 I got a desk that would have cost $1500.00 from Omnirax or somewhere else.
Oh yeah lets not forget the hours and splinters and sanding that went into it. I guess that's why people buy from manufacturers.
That sander has killed my ears. After sanding the crap out of that top I could of swore I kept hearing my cell phone ringing.
My ears need a rest.
