Would it be completely crazy to use these on toms even though they are not hypercardioid? For the price (<60€) there is simply nothing that sounds good afaik, and for my occasional self recording I don't want to spend a fortune, thinking of 7x MC-200 or 520 (5 toms +OH) , something for the snare tbd, a Beta 52 and something for HH ... or any other ideas?
