I am listening to T. Pain's "Rappa ternt sanga" and the crispness and clearness of the pitched 808s is amazing. E-40s newest record has some great examples of this as well. The drums are untouchable.
Has anyone used the Roland Varios module? I think it looks great for stretching compressing 808 samples ect...
Also Kontact 2 can timestretch but there seem to be artifacts that occur. Maybe with some tweaking....
