AFAIK sB SE will handle plug-ins as well, depends on your routing and workflow.
Are you in Input Mode on the Desk, putting your plug-ins across the master section on the destination tracks, and activating dither in the preferences?

Thanks for the reply. I've been using plugs on both the master section and desk, both coming out to the analog chain and coming from it. If I have a plug across the master section with input mode selected on the desk, it is recording the plug I'm monitoring through on the destination track (both on the desk and the master section). I know this because if I start randomly start changing parameters on the destination track's plugin while its recording it records all of it. Also, I've tried just catching with SB to make sure I wasn't screwing up my routing somewhere and had the same results. IE if I'm monitoring a limiter and making wacky level changes for the hell of it, they are represented in the recorded track. Not as automation, but in the waveform itself. Doesn't change whether I'm monitoring the input side on the master bus or output side, or if I have it in input mode or auto on the desk....Anyway I'll try again, now that I've posted this on the internet god will prove me wrong and it'll all work great tomorrow.
