Calculate the weight of the ceiling and divide it amongst the number of clips you used. Then add the weight of the cloud and see if you are still within the specified limits of those clips.
Holes will diminish soundproofing. I would caulk when installing the butterfly bolts. If you want to do this without any compromise to you soundproof ceiling you would have to suspend your cloud on cross pieces or a frame.
