So this item costs $800 in Australia and only $300-400 in the US so I'd buy from the US normally in this circumstance but...
It appears the US model only works on 115v/US voltage. Is this true or does it have a voltage switchable power supply? It would most likely say on the back of the unit near the power plug 'input voltage 110-240v' or just '115v' or something. Can someone have a look for me?
It should also say on the back how many watts and/or amps it uses. If it's not 110-240v, can someone please tell me the watts or amps of the unit? That way I can calculate what sort of stepdown transformer I would have to buy and how much it will cost and/or if I can plug it straight into one of my existing step down transformers with a US power board.
