Update.
I got the power supply and DIN plug today, and it worked fine after some swearing about my soldering skills!
Regarding the EPROM, It turns out it already was upgraded to a quadraverb plus.
One odd thing I saw inside though is this little 'air-build' of a transistor + diode + resistor (see blurry pic) - anyone know what this is all about or have seen similar?
