by they way sorry that this is a bit of topic but is there any way to downgrade to previous version from 9.1.7. the reason i am asking is that i have recently bought a download version of logic pro from app store and straight away i was only able to download the latest version. i have found previous updates on apple support page but obviously it wont let me to install it since there is a newer version already running. someone know if there is any way around it. any help would be appreciated ?

Hi everyone,

same problem here...I was running Logic Pro 8.0.2 and thought it was time to take advantage of the 8 GB ram of my Imac Core 2 duo...So I bought the latest Logic 9 update via app store, which is 9.1.7...Now I've got CPU spikes, disk too slow warning/ system overload, etc...So...I'd like to install 9.1.6 (thanks to the links provided from a previous poster), but it doesn't let me downgrade Logic, since there's there's 9.1.7 already running. Again, there's no previous Logic 9 installed I could backup. Any idea how I could achieve this? Thanks for your help!

Regards,
Max
