check if your ua plugs have lost their registration little red box at bottom of plug in gui ? That has happened to me a couple of times and you still see them in your session but they are not active.
rebooting solved this.
also, if you are talking about working from console, there is the horizontal rocker switch above the main volume that sets fx for monitoring or for tracking so if you have that set to monitor and if you have lost the registration you would see them but they will not be printed.
if they are in your session they should bounce
just tracking/working on a new song too so will post soon here for constructive criticism when I have a simple mix !
