First post.

The doubler from Waves lets you do preatty much what u described..
You could use two tracks on the mixer and pan them left and right..
U could also send the vocals throu a stereo imager, widen it up, solo the high band and tune down the X-over freq..

Or is that a bad thing?

PS. yes i know... this post is old.. but i liked the topic so there.
