For a guy who does mostly sparse acoustic arrangements it is amazing how much time I spend with multiple amps shaking the studio walls.

But the quest for the right tone for a specific tune will lead you down many paths. My last tune has my '71 SG tracked directly through my Trident strip for the ultimate clean accompaniment.
