It really depends on what you want out of the pedal.At the end of the chain and on all the time it will act as final compensation for any loss of signal you cables and pedals may impose.In front of the overdrive you will drive the ts-808 harder for solos which might sound better than boosting after the 808 as that might raise your level but bring out the more transister sound of the pedal depending on the eq setting.There is no best.Some use the RC at the front to compensate going from a humbuckr PU to a single coil.It;s really up to you.
