There isn't much you can't do with WL7... Personally, I prefer the workflow and DSP in Samplitude (Pro-X), which will probably turn into your all-purpose start-to-finish DAW of choice after about twenty minutes.
In either case - If you can't do fairly stellar-sounding work in either program, let's just say it isn't the program's fault...
