No-one's got it yet so...

CLUE TIME FOR BUDGET MC's FAB MXL MIC GIVEAWAY

Once again, here is the link to the mystery percussion instrument: Mystery Percussion Instrument

Remember - all you have to do is guess what percussion instrument this is and where it is from to win BudgetMC's fabulous free double MXL mic give-away! How cool is that!

Nonetheless, as this is admittedly quite hard, I am going to start posting increasingly give-away clues as to the nature and origin of the instrument, and yes, it is a bona-fide instrument with a distinct cultural heritage, not some random household object being tapped or shaken!

So...

Clue 1: This instrument comes from an island nation
Clue 2: It's made of bamboo
Clue 3: It's sometimes rubbed/rolled between the palms of the hands to create a rhythm
Clue 4: The name of the instrument shares something in common with a well-known movie character
Clue 5: You might well hear this instrument accompanying a Valiha

(I'm not going to say whether you guess each clue correctly on it's own - you still need to submit a complete answer to win.)

Good luck and have fun!
