I'll go first. I started with some Waves products that I could authorize directly to my hard drive. When I considered buying some more, iLock had entered the equation. Also, If I bought a new computer, I'd need the iLock to move my existing plugins to it. I resent having to pay an additional fee to a third party for something I already legitimately own. Feels like a property tax to me.
