you can get different kind of reverbs within convolution reverb.

e.g., halls, rooms, plates, delays, even "preamp simulations" (which doesn't do what they say, but cooler for other purposes).

have you looked at noisevault.com, or other impulse websites? if you do a search here in GS, i remember there's a thread that had a big list of'em.

aside from Space Designer (and i've used other convo's programs before).... mos def outboard. they're a steal these days.
