make sure you get the impedances in the right range, and you might want to attenuate as much as -40 dB.

make sure not to run phantom power from the VP26 into whatever line output you're using!!

a less cheap option is a Radial JDI Duplex and the transformers will isolate from any phantom power accidents. you also get the Jensen transformers in line for even more coloration
