Thats hardly surprising, as its basically a JP8000 in there. (ie meh! ...its 'plastic elastic' alright lol) I have played both. V-Synth has a much more appealing interface, but the Nord just sounds superb. (horrible keybed though)

I'd take the Nord given the choice.
