| I don't know about the 'Apex 460' series mic beating a C12VR... actually I know they don't generally. Even the plastic AKG capsule is generally more balanced sounding than the typical Chinese capsules, and the grille is quite thick and that contributes considerably to the spitty sound of these mics, especially if you're adding EQ. Now the other question is what capsule he puts in his mic. He has a lot of different capsules available. |
