Let me address what FRANZ asked me about - the EPS-16+. I told him my experience with both the original EPS and EPS-16+ was hit-and-miss. I have had customers use the 7720-based card readers on both with success but just as often, there was no luck. If someone wanted to try a drive, I'd definitely recommend using an external version, for the reasons I outlined previously.

Since I have no external SCSI cases at this time, I told FRANZ I could not help him. But if anyone has access to a SCSI case and would like to try a drive with their SCSI-enabled EPS-16+, I'll be happy to help.
