If I had the money, I would never pay asking unless it was immaculate with documents and other things to prove it. 12-15 thousand sounds about right.
As far as the ADL is concerned, I don't understand how anyone could look you in the eye and seriously suggest the price for one is the way it is and should be. For starters, 1 it's not a real fairchild. 2, it was built in this decade. 3, parts and labor come nowhere near asking. And 4, it's not a real fairchild. I can understand it from a collectible standpoint, if you are collecting ADL gear. But that much for a clone doesn't make sense to me. That's like someone selling you a supercharged BMW under the guise of the Ferrari experience for the same amount of dough as a Ferrari.
