I think my Roland sh-101 got plugged in to a psu with the wrong polarity.

I wasn't there but the person who was said the device did not turn on but instead just made a loud hum/ buzz and when she unplugged a few seconds later some smoke came out of the VCO pot. Now it reeks of burnt circuitry.
She said the psu was 12V 1.3A which should be fine which is why I'm guessing the polarity was wrong. I don't have access to the supply right now so I can't verify.
Obviously somethings blown. Anyone out there familiar with the unit to know if something like this is repairable/what it might cost to get it fixed?
Last piece of gear I loan out.
