Thats a bit harsh of a thing to say...
Friends let friends borrow shit... thats the way it is. Being friends with someone doesn't mean you pirate software... or even that your a cheap skate... maybe he's just at a bad time right now, you shouldn't just judge someone you don't know then end it with, "Why give someone like that a break"
