Hundreds, thousands, ten ?? For arguements sake, let's say you write 200 songs over your life that are worth recording, and doing some production work to them. In a pro studio, you could very easily run up a tab of $1,000 per song, for 200 songs, that would add up to $200,000, so is a $10-40,000 investment in a home studio worth your time and effort ?? I think so.
