Thanks for all the replies all! I think I understand now that this isn't stuff you can just 'implement' right away. Quite clearly understand DSP and synthesis a lot more would be more beneficial to me than just trying to use a plug in. I can also see now that after more research into the more 'esoteric' fields of computer music it will allow me to know what it is that I'm trying to accomplish instead of only knowing half of it.
