I don't really understand your layout so won't be able to offer anything towards that end. However, if treating another rooms is effective means that sound from other rooms can effect the room you are in. If a kitchen, that means the hum of the refrigerator, dishwasher, etc.

As for bass trapping a vocal booth, evidently the human voice (some) can extend well below 80Hz. I'd say that's well in the bass region. Do take precautions.
