Thank you guys SO much for your responses. It really is a lot to think about, and if a person WERE having issues with his thoughts on a mono room mic, he sure as hell shouldnt be now. I will definitely take all of your posts under advisement.

Yeah and it seems the further away from the kit you get, the more balanced and even the drum kit sounds.

doorknocker - I am trying like hell to understand what you are saying here, but i cant make sense of it for the life of me. I DID ride the short bus to school, so if you actually meant what you said i wouldnt be suprised a bit.
