HI Greg, I mix ITB and use shelving filters (with hardware simulation plug-ins) when high frequencies sound too "digital", but now I wonder if Clariphonic is able to reduce that digital sound adding it´s hardware characteristics.

I am not saying cutting it 100% because recording and mixing into DAW means working in the digital domain, but enough to make them sound more "hardware" than "digital".
