I'm sorry I can't help you with this issue. I don't know how much these things are going for right now, and you do say you love them, but if there was anything I could get you to do to trade those in on something else, I would do it.

Not quite the response I was looking for, but it gave me laugh. I did love the sound, and frankly the format. But granted, my first tracking I was working with a band that had great vintage gear and tube amps and was running them all through some really sweet vintage tube pres, so maybe that helped. I guess I'm going to have to be the guy that answer my own questions. If you can't find an expert, might as well become one.
