This does not mean mix at full scale and then lower the mix 3db before sending it off.

and it doesnt mean to mix at -6dB peaks with plugs that still destroy the sound because of their problems

i have seen too many bad recordings that were tracked and edited at 0dBFS+ , plus diddled with fx and plugs that added more damage, and finally lowered to -3 to give to the ME.

and then the client wonders why the ME cant remove the krapp that got added.
