I think the Black Lion crew are just really, really busy at the moment.
I had my traveller there, and the customer service was outstanding. Matt is a really genuinely helpful and friendly guy... he's just a bit snowed under.
Have you called him? or just emailed.
I think if you call and talk it through with him, he'll be more than helpful. The guy probably gets 100 emails a day, so it wouldn't be the best way to get his attention.
If you've posted this thread without calling him and talking it through in person, then that's pretty harsh. It's just a small family business by a guy who's passionate about gear. It's not like he has a customer service department.
In any case, they seem to have a great thing going... so it'll be worth the wait.
