ok i have had a alesis multi mix 8, usb not firewire loved it no issues
i have had a mackie, best mixer i have had, not the onyx, a good friend of mine is a producer in NYC and bought one and didn't like it, he said he had a lot of issues with it, and it was just overrated, i found that surprising. the yamaha only 2 out, and only one send, thats sucks.
the m audio never had, or heard of one, but they all have the sam digital specs, but it has 10 in 10 out 8 instrument, 2 mic, output, 8 instruments, and the stereo mix.
and when you push play, each tracy plays on the right channel so you can mix it again, or record a gig, burn and sell cps afterwards. it comes with protools, on came with cubase, that sucks, protools is good even though i use logic pro.
oh by the way I'm a keyboard player, i never use miss, so if you need that look into more about that\

oh yeah look around i have seen the maudio under 200 for all those features, you could sell it for more if you didn't like it
